things to know

ACTIVE FISHING

Snagging is an active form of fishing and sometimes we have to walk short distances or put in a lot of effort to find fish. It’s important that you understand the physical requirements of this style of fishing, including standing for up the 3 hours and walking on slippery/wet coastal surfaces. It’s even more important that you know your limits and clearly communicate how you’re feeling to your guide. We will always do our best to accommodate to ensure you have the best experience possible.

IT’S THE RAINFOREST

One of the many reasons that Seward, AK is one of the most beautiful places on the planet is its verdant forested hillsides and rich variety of summer flora. The reason for this is the wet climate known as coastal rainforest. Be sure to come prepared with proper raingear and you will have no problem enjoying the amazing outdoor activities available in this special place. Also, weather in Alaska can change quickly, it’s best to dress in layers and bring a backpack.
